We went through school together and stayed friends almost 50 years-I wish it could have been longer! Throughout that time we shared good and bad but Mary always kept her sense of humour and inner resilience. I will miss her but know that Clare is keeping her spirit alive and that I will always have good memories of a true and loyal friend
